Hi Gang.
Took out the 88 dwarf this past weekend and finally got it to turn over 8000rpm. Bad valve spring in one cyl was killing it. Now I’ve got 12500 no problems with that.
My problem I do have is a sticky master cylinders. It's got twin tillton masters with a CNC brand pedal assembly the PO removed the bias adjuster and screwed the two hiems down so there’s no bias adjust. Brakes seem to work just fine but I noted I could not roll the car in the pits after the race unless I pulled the brake pedal up. ERR...
Anyone run in to this before? I'm hoping a good bleeding / flush will do it. I've lubed the pedal pivot and masters rod end no luck.
Thanks

I once used a door spring to "return" my Tilton MC to top position for a race until I got a new MC... Actually I never replaced the MC now that I think of it...
I'de have to use a valve spring as there bottom swing pedals.
I didn't think i'd like bottom swing but after a few laps i think i like them better then top swing.
No need for heel stops with bottom swing.
Spring on the brake pedal, push rod adjustment ?
There is no spring and no rod adjustment. The pedal will pull back 3/4 of an inch no problem the master don't seem to push it back like the internal spring is missing.

maybe you're on to something. it's possible the internal spring has lost its spring, or that it is indeed missing. add a "flagpole" to the brake pedal and hook a screen door spring to it. yeah, it's hack. but it'll work.
Your lack of an effective bias bar sounds scary! If I understand your description correctly, then by definition you only have brakes at one end of the car right now (unless EVERYTHING about the front circuit and the rear circuit are IDENTICAL).

Bias is locked 50/50 same diameter rotors and same wilwood dyna lite calipers same 7/8 master bores same polymtrics B pads. I'll be putting the cable adjuster back on it.
Pulled the rubber boots off tonight to find one is crusty rusty.
Now that could just be cuase car sat out side and was full of leaves and moss when i picked it up or it might be weeping a little but anyway out they come. Not sure if i'll get a kit for them or just swap'em.
Ah...my bad. I see now that it's just the ADJUSTER that's missing, not the actual bias bar. Sorry 'bout jumping to that conclusion.
'sall good!
