Hi, Everybody. The Triad Sports Car Club is having their 50th Anniversary Event in June. I want to compete in the event but my P71 in the Avatar has Three Stock 2000 MGM Wheels with a 1.75 Inch offset from the 2004 Offset. Not trying to be a cheap A$$ but due to having a teenage girl splitting time in my kart and her dad's, all of the Racing funds is going to her karts. The Question is what street class would the stock offset wheels would put the 2004 in? Thanks of any help.

Crown Vics (all) are in F Street.

Yeah, it won't be competitive in that class so don't worry about it, even run FS with the wheels you have (nobody is going to protest you) or run CAM.

For steet class:

13.4 WHEELS Any type wheel may be used provided it complies with the following:

A. It is the same width as standard and as installed it does not have an offset more than ±7.00 mm (±0.275”) from a standard wheel for the car. B. Wheel (rim) diameter may be increased or decreased 1” from the standard part. Wheel spacers are permitted provided the resultant combination complies with the offset requirements of this Section.

As long as you can fix the offset with spacers you can run Street.

I applaud you for caring about the rules, but no one who beats you will care. Anyone you beat who protests a Crown Vic over wheel offset will go down in history as "that guy who lost to a Crown Vic and protested over it."

You'll need to log in to post.
