The car had sat for about a week. I got in it to drive to work this morning, released the parking brake, let the clutch out and it still felt like the parking brake was engaged. Pulled and released the brake a couple more times and same thing.

Gave it some power and it broke loose. The rear brakes made some noise in the first couple stops but the pedal feel good and it stopped fine. No noise after the first couple stops.

I'm thinking since we had some torrential rains while it was sitting that the rotors flashed over and the rust is what stuck them.

Should I even bother with pulling the wheels and checking it out when I get home this evening? I'm feeling pretty lazy today.

It was probably just the rotors rusted to the pads after the rain. Drive the car and see if that wheel is significantly hotter than the other side.

This happens with my CLS63 pretty often, has something to do with the pad compound.

That happens sometimes, nothing to worry about once the rotors look normal after a few minutes of driving.
