Driving home to Vermont from Indiana this weekend, I must have seen at least 7 or 8 Avanti's and a few other Studebakers on the trip. That about doubles the amount of Studebakers I've ever seen in the wild. There must have been a show somewhere on the i-90 corridor.
By the way, you Indiana folks have a nice place. Good friendly folk out there. Enjoyed my visit. My only complaint was some bug(s) chowed on my flesh below the knee but no where else. Itched worse than any mosquito bite I've ever encountered. It all happened when I fell asleep in my chair near the water. Stealthy like ninjas they were. Glad they didn't bight any higher.
