I'm a traveling salesman and I see weird/cool car stuff all the time (like that funny car sign on a stick that I posted about a few weeks ago).
I'll just update this with the randomness.

Pushed the button to close the sunroof, but didn't wait for it to finish before turning the car off - it happens...
It looks weired, but they may love the sunroof open and that may further reduce turbulance inside over and above the pop up one already on there. I've seen the new Merc convertables have a big ass ugly lift up spolier type attachment on the header rail when the top is down.

Yup! It's another MINI rear spoiler mounted to the front of the roof!

Now I see it!
Hahaha didn't even notice the "visor" at first!
Hey now they'll get equal amounts of downforce going forward and in reverse!

You have to imagine the amount of turbulence that thing creates. It's got to be hurting their fuel economy.
I travel for sales and take some pictures too.

It looks like the bottom edge is angled up. Is that the way it is, or does it just look like it in the picture? If so, I'd imagine it creates quite a bit of drag.

Childhood memories! That was the family car of my friend and nemesis when I was in the single digits. Look carefully at the angle on the bottom of the rear bumper. We learned that if we drove our bicycles at it, our front tires would wedge in place, and we would do "endos". We kept going faster and faster, till we went right over, and on to the trunk. No dents on the trunk, and no dents on us . . .

Yes, it is angled. Sharply.

you're overthinking it. It's downforce for when he's backing out of parking spots fast.

I've been there. You can see part of the van in the pic.
I've been there, too. Can't help shout, "Pump up the volume, pump up the volume, pump up the volume DANCE-DANCE!'' every time I see the sign.
I saw a short/fat bald guy dressed in a full Superman outfit standing at a bus stop last Friday at lunch time. Unfortunately I didn't have time to get my phone on, and I was too in shock to roll down the window and congratulate him for having way more balls than I do.
