Stupid question, Olds 350

This seems like such a newb thing and I should know the answer....heck Im pretty sure I can figure it out,but Im just a bit apprehensive about guessing.

Im putting aftermarket gauges in our BABE car (40 year old idiot lights arent real reliable) but Im not entirely sure which are the oil pressure and coolant temp sensors on an Olds 350 rocket. (circa 1969)

I think the 2 wire sensor in the intake manifold is the temp sensor (near the thermostat housing) and the 1 wire connector to the front of that in the block right behind the timing cover is the oil pressure.

Does anyone know for certain or have a link to a diagram which could put my mind at ease?

Sounds about right to me. But then it's been a long time since I messed with a "rocket" 350.

Absolutely, if you dont mind looking up the location of the oil pressure sensor and the coolant temperature sensor I would certainly appreciate confirmation.

The relevant diagram is about the size of a dollar coin, which is kind of disappointing, but seems to confirm what others have said. In 69, the two plus one wires are shown coming out of a single wire wrap before they separate, if that helps.

David, thanks for looking that up, they do indeed come out of the same harness so that's another pointer in the right direction.

Im just more used to chevy V8s which usually have the oil pressure tap toward the rear and the temp sensor below the heads.
