Who the hell works at styling departments of car companies? Do they seriously have no clue what they are doing because there are some UGLY cars on the road. Nissan is the worst but pretty much every company has something that is ugly.
I don't even understand how they messed this up because the sedan and wagon look great and usually coupes look better then either of those other body styles. The coupe looks good until the back half and then it all goes wrong.
I am going to stop posting pictures before I throw up.
It's open to personal opinion so this is an unwinnable thread. I like the cube, hate the Ferrari, love the CTS Coupe and think that every Panamera should be dropped into the middle of the Atlantic then the owners fined for polluting the oceans as punishment for being stupid enough to buy a car that makes the Pontiac Aztec look like a super model.
Mitsuoka Orochi. I couldn't have had styled an uglier car if I tried.
Styling is a highly personal choice, but I will say that there are few really good looking cars on the road. Seems like each new model gets worse or at least benign.
Huh I like the Porsche I don't know how you could style a 4 door Porsche many other ways and it still look like a Porsche

Remember that for every car you think is ugly, someone else thinks it's attractive and vice versa.
I wouldn't buy one for myself, but I kind of like the Nissan Cube because it looks like what it is - a compact people mover. It's not trying to look like a sports car or anything else.

Many cars that show butt-ugly in pictures are not so bad in person.
(Panamera comes to mind, also Tribeca)

The Panamera is ugly in person.

No I got it right the first time.
Intersting because I find all 4 of the cars you posted to be good looking vehicles.
I think what is true is that modern vehicles seem to be more polarizing than ones of the past. There doesn't seem to be many cars that are just there, nearly every car that tries to be in some way provocativly styled ends up being loved/hated by an equal number of people.

Surely you can't be serious.

Really? To me these are good looking vehicles.
In my opinion no new car I see on the road is uglier than the Nissan Juke. The lines on that car are so out of balance that it looks like it's been tweaked in a wreck when it's brand new.
I think that the Juke is ugly, but I don't find it offensive. The Murano CrossCabriolet actually offends me. But looking at much of the rest of the line-up, like the Leaf, Versa, Rogue, even the NV. There's a lot of homeliness coming out of the Nissan studio these days.

I thought I saw a Panamera in person once, but I'm not sure because I woke from a coma a few minutes later.

Ah! The new Japanese Aircraft Carrier "Agaki"! Holds a full wing of aircraft I'm told.

WTF?!?!?!? I seriously laughed out loud when I saw that picture.
It actually kinda reminds me of that atrocity the Russian guy with a bitchin' fur coat made out of a Mercedes.

You can add the Mini Countryman and Hyundai Veloster to that list. Although they are cool in their own right, they are also fairly fugly as well.
I was just thinking earlier that none of the new cars out are all that "pretty"
Even the Miata got thumped with the uglystick
