The Cheaparral "Sucker Vette" that won the Grassroots Motorsports $2007 Challenge last year, will be at the Corvette Homecoming in Bowling Green, KY this Saturday, July 19. In addition to twin turbos, this '86 vette uses a blower from an Abrams tank to generate active downforce. Besides the GRM articles, it was also featured in the July issue of Vette magazine (http://www.vetteweb.com/features/vemp_0807_1986_chevrolet_corvette/index.html)
If you'd like to see it up close and you're in the area, come take a look.
The car will be auctioned off for charity this fall. Check out our web site for the latest info (cheaparral.com).

Heck you guys are also featured on the P&G webpage.
Hey, that's extremely cool.

That is cool. If you want to link the $2007 Challenge Page (with video and stuff), it's here: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/events/07-challenge/
And your build diary is still online at http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/events/2007-challenge/believe-it/
Holy cow that bouncing banner is annoying (cheaparral home page)!!!!
Yeah.. it makes it hard to read the page. If you could add a way to turn it off, that would be good.

can we add "check tire pressures" to the pre-race checklist? i can't believe y'all made four runs before checking them last year. hey, i'm guilty too, as i was there with you the whole time.
