Great place, loved it with some very cool cars. Went there 11 years ago when my youngest was 4 months old, they have lot's of TV screens, it was the fist time she'd ever seen a TV screen and she was instantly adicted to the moving pictures! I seem to recall over the road there is a GoKart place so I had to be the dutiful dad and take the eldest (then 6) round and round and round for several goes in the 2 seat kart. Ain't I generouse

My family went to the GM Corvette plant across the street last summer. No cameras allowed.

loved it when Clarkson compared the engine under glass of the ZR-1 to one of Maranello's cars (can't remember which one). He said something to the effect of the Ferrari being assembled by craftsmen in Italy and the Corvette being assembled by fat people from Kentucky.

Then when he nailed the Vette's throttle he said "I LOVE fat people from Kentucky. They've gotten it right!"

I've been there years ago. It was a heart warming trip. Next time we're up that way to visit my wife's family, I will take the factory tour.

I live an hour or so from there and I've never been. I should do that some time.
