First time back in the rallycar since December! Completely reprepped and gone through, the car is 100%. If the shakedown goes well, onto Pacific Forest Rally at the end of September

I think he just needs shorter springs in the front of the truck. Tow vehicle stance yo.
Good luck on the shakedown.

I actually have air-ride bags in the back, but the neighbours had JUST complained two hours before about noise/me running a "shop"/ and the horrifying barrel of (gasp!) RACE FUEL???!!! that was sitting on my trailer (trust me, the conversation was surreal, I didn't realize there were the stereotypical Maude Flanders "won't somebody think of the children" people in this world but there sure are!) so I decided to not fire up the air compressor at 9pm at night.
This is what it normally looks like (I'm actually lying, that's only 35psi, I usually run 45psi):
This is also with the car too far back/not enough tongue weight as the barrel is half empty.

You mean new keys for the torsion bars? Its actually a legit idea to lower the front an inch, I am looking into it. Tire wear has been fine, but at the end of the day, towing with a mid 90's pickup at max gvw is towing with a mid 90's pickup max gvw. I don't want the bags rock hard, and it currently tows like a dream with the truck squatted down a bit in the rear. If I could get the front an inch lower, life would be good

As said, it tows like a dream. Where I put the car/barrels of fuel/tools is also setup for two full barrels, ALL of my rally tools/tires/rims/etc, driver, codriver, and our various equipment, so the setup is a little off right now haha.

Test day was AWESOME. Waiting for pictures. No gopro footage though (I am going to buy some camcorders this Friday, payday!)

Test days and rallysprints operate under different rules. Hitting a tree is much more likely than lighting on fire, hence no suit mandatory. Mandatory helmet and HANS of course.
As for open helmets, they are par for the course in rallying worldwide. I'd estimate 80% of competitors in North America run open face helmets. Another 10% run the Stilo's with the solid boom, so still technically open face :) Comes down to the fact that we have to communicate with somebody constantly while in car. Of course, as you may have noticed, I was doing a run by myself (which again, is allowed on Test Days)

I did not know that - very cool.
I have to go out in practice in full gear. HANS, FF SA rated helmet, Firesuit, balaclava, gloves, socks, shoes... nets up, bottle armed... the whole enchilada. More than once on a hot day I've just said berkeley it and not gone out until qualifying to save some exhaustion and keep the gear dry for a little longer.
