Thank you for the reminder, good sir!
Earlier this evening I was outside and saw a big full moon. Later I went back out and there was just a little sliver of moon, and I was all WTF. Now it all makes sense.

High tide was really high tonight. Sky has been mistly cloudy for the last 3 days here. No moon to see.
It looked great down here. Its dark now.

The last time this happened was the night I was born.
Make of that what you will..
the skies cleared up just in time for me to view it... it was very nice
Bonus points! I saw two shooting stars during the total eclipse!
Clear for once here so we got to see it.
The clouds moved in very heavy after being spotty all night, didn't get to see it re-appear but we did see it disappear.
Had some cloud issues in Los Angeles also. Generally clear, but clouds JUST where the moon came up!!

It was a nice excuse to park along the PCH overlooking the water while sitting in a Miata.
I was able to watch it through the cloud breaks. Glad I stayed up and outside.

It was on the side of my house with a E36 M3load of trees in my way but I managed a few before the full eclipse. That and the bugs in my backyard were killing me.

Here's a link to my crappy cell phone picture I took while the wife and I sat on our porch and enjoyed some Pig Nose scotch and Disaronno

I watched it, got a cell phone pic of the moon at 30 pixels tall

I made it to this point, then the clouds got thicker.
