Whodda thunk?

I had to join the forum for the Model T Club of America to get some help identifying the fenders on this Speedster. I'm actually surprised that there are still any active forums that look so crude.

Though, I guess I shouldn't be.

They gave me an answer in about ten minutes, though!

They appear to be Speedster fenders, sold by Rootlieb. Not sure if they're modeled after stock pieces from any year.

"old crusties"

The best source for Volvo 1800 info is a Yahoo e-mail group. Once in awhile, there are discussions to go to a real forum, but it's quickly dismissed.

Yep-the EV old school still hangs out on a list.

I think the Model T forum software might be a bit more up to date than the fiat forums over at mirafiori.com. I remember it seemed archaic the first time I logged in there in 96 or so and it still hasn't changed.

It is difficult to even post a link to a picture on mirafiori. It wraps most photobucket links so you have to go the extra step of tinyurl for each picture. heaven forbid you already read a thread and would like to re-read it as it will hide any that you have already looked at.

It is a shame. A lot of knowledge in that collective

I actually like the model T club's forum format...it's nice and simple, no extra clutter. It seems like whenever a forum decides to 'upgrade' to a newer software version it gets harder to use. A perfect example is the Fine Homebuilding magazine forum; they kept improving it to the point where the members finally got fed up and started their own website.

In the case if the Fiat forum, it's probably just a bad ground.
