I am working on UAH moonbuggy team and I was analyzing the old suspension. The suspension is a double unequal unparallel wishbone setup but the lines drawn to find the swing arm length intersect on the outside of the wheel. What does this mean? I have a feeling it is bad since I can't seem to find anything about it in any books.

Cool.

It means your camber curves will be backwards. As the wheel moves up, it's going to gain positive camber on top of whatever comes from body roll. With bicycle wheels and low speeds, I'm not sure it's important. I wonder if the ideal setup would actually use equal length, parallel arms for no camber curves on big articulation?

Yes, the camber will go positive.

Looks like the original suspension was parallel:
