so this thread intrigues me, to clarify what year of Mazda truck will have a trans that bolts to the f2, fe3, etc.? also someone said the same bellhousing will bolt to a rotary also?
Same bell won't bolt to rotary. Any Mazda truck with an FE (2.0 8v), F2 (2.2 8v), or G6 (2.6 12v, B2600i) should bolt to F2/FE/FE3/F8/etc. B2000/2200 transmission is same "family" as the non-turbo rotary transmissions. B2600i is an "R box" similar to TII/FD RX7.
Believe you're looking at 85-93. After that i think the B trucks became rebadged Rangers in the US.
