She's been drooling over these things since they came out. She finally found one she could afford, a 2016 500X Trekking Plus with 40k miles for $14k. Ciao baby!

I realize that the "500" name plate is pretty hot right now.. but if I had been Fiat, I would have introduced the "600" name back into production for the larger cars..

Yeah, everything doesn't have to be a 500. I'm glad the spyder is at least a 124.
I had a manual diesel 500X for 2 weeks in Italy. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would, since I'm usually in the anti-crossover crowd. It was fun and just the right size - big enough to haul all our crap, small enough to still drive like a normal car.
We had one as a rental down in FL in May 2016 and liked it. Not a ton of space behind the second row of seats, but it worked well for us for the week.
I drove it around town for a bit last night, better than I expected for a larger vehicle (larger being relative). The Sport + mode was nice with better steering, couldn't decide if I liked or disliked how long it held 1rst gear. She'll leave it in Auto for mpg I'm sure.
