thats the good thing about NA's. 7inch round headlights so the jeep lights are cheap.

I am so glad that the "Altezza" fad has faded. I hated those lights.

As for the 7 series, I did the same to a set of clear topped lights on my 318ti. Left the red factory stock and put a very light coating of smoked vinyl over the turn and reversing lenses. Changed the whole look of the rear of the car

All the 90s BMWs seem to look better with stockish but subtley different aftermarket taillights.

To the original poster, if you have the resources at hand, a buffer with a foam pad and compund will make those stock  lights look a lot sharper.

When I bought my 92 Civic CX it had the factory / 3 color tail lights, which I didn't care for.  I am not a fan of 99% of the "Altezza" type lights I have seen, not of the darkened tail lights.  So, to improve the looks of my car I went with the JDM look.  That is, red lenses on top with white on bottom.  So I don't know if these are technically "stock" tail lights as the car wasn't built for the North American market that way.

All the lights on my challenge truck had paint/. Nightshade all over them. All new lights on rockauto was about $35. Wasn't worth trying to fix the old ones.
