That looks awesome. Although I wonder what "previously restored" means. Whatever. buy it anyway.
Why is it not in your driveway yet?

That would be a done deal for me. Other than the doors, it looks clean.

My mother had a beige 81 wagon like that. I think it finally rusted apart after around 600k. The first clutch lasted 350k.

I thought your mom had one of those, did John end up killing it?
Buy it and never look back.
To be honest, when you said "early Honda", I thought you meant 60's
Go get it already. Thankfully it is across the country or I might be over there.
Pretty darn sweet little wagon. It's within driving distance for me, but not in the budget

Yeah, same here. My first Honda was an '82 Accord. I guess that's now way old school.
You don't see many of those old Civic wagons. I'd drive it. And true, it needs some more period-correct wheels. That can easily be fixed.
I was expecting something like this
You know, I have a gearshift knob and Honda badge for the above car. One turned up in our local you-pull-it. To quote a friend, it looked as if it had caught on fire and was put out with rust.
I grabbed the only two decent things on the carcass. The cashier said "no charge."
