So I have been working on a deal for a new project car that I will enjoy much more than the old Cutlass (well all 3 of them), if everything works out the car SHOULD be here this weekend or the first part of next week. I made a deal with the wife that I would get rid of the Cutlass pile so we don't have quite so many cars around. And honestly while I like certain G Bodies, the earlier Cutlass like I have just doesn't hold my interest.

Well then today I have an offer fall in my lap that could be really fun. Basically I have been made aware of a 84 Caprice Classic that I could get for $750 and the damn thing even runs. I am thinking lower, sportier suspension, get some good disk brakes under there and maybe do a junkyard LS swap (or even rebuild the 355 I have sitting in pieces) could provide for some entertainment. I could also justify it to my wife as a very inexpensive "beater" for us to have if one of the other rigs has problems.

Honestly I need another project like I need a spare hole in my head. Biggest thing is I can see the car providing some short term fun while the other car will take some more time (and I will want to take some more time with it) but be on a whole other level once it is done.

Yeah seeing that kinda resparked my odd want for the bizarre boxy beast. I swear everytime I see one in the grocery store parking lot I always, ALWAYS, take a second look at them and just kinda think about what could be done with one.

There are actually quite a few of them I have found near me for Challenge money.

Oh earlier today I was offered a completely tore down '72 Chevelle (guy was going to do a frame up resto he said) for $1000. The bad thing there is no title and a solid 400 miles from me.
