Tan "race" seats ?

I can't find any tan "race" seats. I'm not looking for certified seats just the cheap things you can get on Ebay for $150 a pair. Any one got a good site to get cheapo seats from?

All Google could find me were tan leather racing seats.

Could you find a cheap set of seats and take it to an upholsterer? That's always an option.

The cheap ones I bought turned out to be "off-white" instead of tan. I'm going to spray dye them with some SEM.

Never thought of colouring white seats.

Looked at those too. Might be an option of last resort.

I've been wondering about this too, I have an E30 with a tan interior. Haven't decided if I'll try to restore the Recaros, which aren't actually that bad aside from a broken tilt mechanism that might be fixable, or go aftermarket, though.

I've seen these in person - I think at OG Racing in VA. Very spendy...

but very pretty.

I am on the hunt for some proper "sports" seats for the saab. Either from an A2 VW or an E30

A friend of mine did this on his car. He bought a pair of used Recaros and had them reupholstered. The fabric doesn't exactly match the stock rear seats but the color is right on and you'd have to be a car guy to really notice the fabric difference. Don't know cost, though.

The Recaros pictured above look very nice.
