I thought Keith would have posted this by now, so I'll break the news - I 've been watching the Targa Newfoundland website, and final results are in - Keith and Janelle finished 16th overall, and first in their class! Congrats to them, this is a great achievement. I can hardly wait for the TV coverage, which is usually first-rate.

That's awesome news, great job Keith!
Fantastic! Congratulations guys!
Thanks guys :) It was worth all the time, effort and expense. We didn't spend anywhere near enough time flying through fences or crashing into houses to rate much screen time on the TV, but the footage I have seen from the guys indicates it should be a great show. The Targa is an awesome event.
What Jim didn't mention is that there was only one other car in our class :D But still, for a couple of novices, even finishing is a pretty big achievement. What I'm really proud of is the fact that we manged to get a trophy - that means that we finished every stage within a certain time. You don't have to be fastest to get one of these, but you have to be reliable and consistent. I think about 17 cars came home with one out of 70-odd starters.
You can read our updates from the race at http://targamiata.com/race.php.
Now all I have to do is drive another 3000 miles to get home.
Congrats Keith ... Do you now have the itch to return? ...
running the Targa is a dream of mine, my envy light is on!
Good job, Keith! Running the Targa is a long-term goal of mine, and following your progress was great fun.
Congrats! That event looks like a lot of fun.
