Please update wiki.
The LR4 is an evolution of the LR3, not the Discovery II. I've spent a lot of time in both. The LR3/4 is heads and tails a nicer, more reliable and better vehicle than the earlier Discoveries ever were. Heres my DII and my moms LR3 out in the OBX

That's fine. I am not arguing, I am just saying if it isn't a continuation of the lineage, update wiki.

I dont have much to add on specific models, but have a general thought: Do you really NEED an SUV? We spent a lot of time thinking about whether to buy one, but ultimately ended up with an (older) full size wagon (Volvo XC70). Gets us about 95% of the interior space, easier for dogs to get in/out, especially when they get a bit older, and, most importantly, a bit nicer to drive than a sorta truck-based SUV.

My sister got a diesel X5. It's the final year of the E70?. Sweet Mother of Pearl is that thing ever fast.

I think both she and the BIL were a little disappointed with the mileage though. It has to be really babied to eek out 25.
