I keep getting yapped at running the 50's and 60's engines things like:

'Put EFI on it'.Use 'Coil on plug'.Etc,etc.

Well okay.

Build a racecar like they build self driving cars but keep control of it remotely.

Now you can design out the cockpit and the driver.

Design out roll cage. Most safety equipment.

Put some inertia and whatever other sensors you think would be handy.

Put some transmitting cameras in it.

Control it from a computer running software made for it.

Operator sits in a van at the racetrack watching monitors.

Car would be lighter weight more aerodynamic and have lower center of gravity.

There a total technology race car!

Tomorrow will be same kind of day for me though.

Shopping for a can of Chemdip for my little CARBURETORS!

When those hippies start talkin', I start melting tires, in front of them. Turns out, hippies can't yell louder than a burnout. And the smoke makes them disappear.

If you're not sitting in it, controlling it, it gets to be like this pretty quick:

I am not hearing anything cutting edge technology here.

Cars like this probably already exist at automakers experimental departments.

Why have a driver making repetitive driving for certain kind of tests?

They probably have big tracks with lots of empty space around them so they can deal with runaway cars.

I prefer spending my time 'crafting' something not programming it.

Porting and polishing vs. bolting on 'variable venturi' 'variable valve timing'.

As far as me being a hippie.Sorry.
