Tesla actually doesn't recommend hands-free driving yet, they've said the autopilot feature is beta-quality right now.

That's what I want autopilot for, too.
Interesting tech and probably the wave of the future, but no thanks. I enjoy driving. Even in stop and go traffic.
I am curious what they have not thought about...
It will also be interesting to see what happens when first start getting a number of these cars on the road and they start interacting with each other. I can see some sort of weird death spiral feedback loop happening (which that can account for eventually of course).
One of the interesting (and kind of scary) thing with fully automated cars and roads is that you don't need stop signs or lights, just sequencing!
I already see some of the benefits of this with my cars Distronic plus, I cant wait for it to get better. Especially so when there is real traffic all the cars could start moving at the same time instead of one car at a time realizing they can go.
It's just less stressful having to ride out traffic knowing the car will do some of the smaller inputs for you (mainly the lazy parts of acceleration/braking)
