so i have a 350 sbc (383 stroker) with a turbo 350 behind it and i have an awful rattle at idle but any throttle and it goes away what could it be besides torque converter or flex plate? flex plate doesn't appear to be cracked, looking through the cover, and the torque converter bolts are tight, tc is in the mail but just curious what other things to seek out next if tc doesn't fix

the times on the video the noise cuts out is under very very slight throttle, it does not cut out at all on its own at idle
Check the fluid. If theres glitter, something is loose inside. I had a parking pawl bust on a 4L60 and eventually tore up the insides. It would shudder and bang under certain conditions. The rest of the time was fine.
Wow. That's a nasty nasty sound. Can you pinpoint where exactly the sound is coming from? If it's definitely from the flex plate / torque converter area, I'd for sure look there. They are notorious for cracking flexplates.
Every time I've seen a flex plate crack it has been around the crankshaft bolt circle, so you can't see it without removing the trans unfortunately.
This was mine, and they can and do crack worse (like all the way around):
