The Rolex 24 At Daytona is more than cars on track. It’s more than victory circle celebrations. And it’s more than pitstops and tire temperatures.
It’s a chance to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. It’s watching the sun dip below NASCAR Turn 1. And it’s doing the GRM midnight paddock tour, even if the weather isn’t cooperating. …

And thanks for joining us. That was fun.
We'll be back. Even if I only ever saw the tent
I'd like to thank the GRM staff for letting me use them as a basecamp for my photo gear (being basically centrally located to the infield and fanzone areas). Couldn't have taken all the photo's I could without your help, would have been stuck on only the 2 batteries a day. Tried getting the GRM experience, but they were sold out when I was on hold in October...so immediately bought the 4 day pass. I'll try for the GRM experience again this coming Rolex 24. Really enjoyed the midnight walk though...even if my shoes were completely soaked. LOL
Hi Dave, my son and I had a good time despite the weather. We always do. This was our 4th maybe 5th time at the GRM experience but..................you need to address the parking situation. I guess the 800 tickets this year explains it though. We arrived at Noon and your lot was completely filled and we were booted out. We drove around the infield, everything was reserved and /or filled. We went outside the Speedway, those lots were completely filled also. We left and drove around looking for anything. Nothing anywhere. We went to the Mall down the street, that was filled. They had security there telling us Speedway people were not allowed to park there. We eventually ended up back at the Mall and found a spot. It was a 30 minute walk back to the Speedway and we weren't the only ones doing it. Lots of other families were hoofing it back too. By the time we got back we had missed the signing line, the track walk and the beginning of the race. I am not really complaining too much and we did eventually get back in your lot in the evening when some people had left but when you pay for infield parking you should expect to be able to do it. I can't imagine what the NASCAR weekends must be like with so many more people there. Thanks for the good overall time but the Speedway needs to do something about parking.
In reply to Feedyurhed:
Apologize for that parking issue. We will be addressing that with the Speedway and our staff and I can pretty much guarantee you will have a place to park next year. As far as the 800 tickets goes, 400 of those were GRM Stadium Experience tickets and they do not include parking. I have a pretty good idea where the issue was and that will be addressed before next year.
Thanks again for being a loyal reader and GRM Experience package purchaser!
