Let's face it we can only eat so much turkey and for many of us it is going to be a 4 or even a 5-day "weekend". So what does everyone have planned for the weekend that is car related.
I am in the middle of a thrash to get the new to me pickup truck ready for winter. This includes new tires, oil change, a basic topping off of all the fluids. I may see about getting a set of new door seals as I am getting way to much wind noise for my liking on the highway.
The Corolla will get a new transmission mount (the buzzing is driving me crazy). I will also see about getting the front tires balanced as I have a slight vibration that may or may not be trans mount related.
The wife's H2 is going to get a new set of front pads.

The Cheap Jeep (my $500 ZJ) will be getting new front shocks ($14ea), new front rotors ($12ea), a coolant level sensor ($12), a rear differential cover ($45) because the old one is paper thing and I'm throwing my Cooper Weather-Master snow tires on it from last year because General Grabbers are atrocious in snow. Also putting a set of Weather-Masters on my parents' Legacy Outback for them (Cheat code activated!)
Saturday my snow tires are going on the Vic, finally. And Friday or Saturday I'm dragging another one home, either to flip or scavenge parts from
Driving to Maine to resurrect a Jeep and drive it back.
I have off wed and Thursday, my usual days off. No such thing has holidays off in a Casino.

I'm going to watch 31 cars (give or take), rip around the roads of Bancroft ON. Driving one of the early open course cars.
Oh and Thanksgiving was a month and a half ago. I think you Southerners call it Columbus Day.
I only have Thursday off. Go back in and work Friday and Saturday. Sunday though, I am going to the Father-In-Law's shop and prepping a Swift DB6 Formula Ford for a race weekend in January!
Kelly and I are flying into Atlanta at midnight on Thanksgiving Night where we are picking up the RXh8 Challenge Car from SVReX, after which we are driving home to Michigan via Robbinsville NC in order to drive the Tail of the Dragon at sunrise in a mostly untested car with a clutch that is on its absolute last leg at 40* on questionable $50 each tires and we both have to be at work in for 6:00am Saturday.
The Escort is having it's cold weather tires (Kumho 4X II) mounted on my 15x7 wheels, doing a coolant flush and fill and a new radiator cap. Miata - nothing, all scheduled and pm items have been done. SWMBO's Focus - coolant flush and fill, oil change, spark plugs and COP boots.
I'm going to hoon the hell out of a loaner tesla p100d
Today is it for me - I took tomorrow off. I'm rebuilding the carb on a Honda dirt bike. If that goes well... hooning on a Honda dirt bike and teaching my kids how to operate same.
Possibly welding up a bed-divider / ski rack for my truck bed because the Thule rack on the roof is driving me berkeleying nuts with wind howl.
Putting the handlebar mitts on the GS and going for a ride out to a buddies hunting cabin Sunday to stare at fire and crash on a cot then ride home while they all go around in the cold dark woods looking for animals that will be mostly running out in front of me.
Most of my tools are locked in the race trailer 1000 miles from here. So I'll be working on the house and the music studio instead. Although I think the Westfalia is going to get a new MPPT solar controller.

That sounds like fun. I'm probably on your way back South, if you need tools, or to weld something back on.
I'm throwing the new snow tires onto the wife's Fit, and maybe doing a little Miata work. Mostly relaxing.
The Ormond Beach Gaslight Parade is the highlight of our Thanksgiving weekend: Tim, Tom and Rennie tinker with cars Thursday and Friday whenever they're not actively eating (so a little), and Friday evening we take a giant spread of pies and turkey sandwiches and mulled wine and munchies to tailgate off the Edsel before we cram as many friends and relatives as we can into all of our classic cars for the parade. This creation was new for last year, and we plan a return of RennieSanta this year:
Ho, ho, ho.

Goal is to mount the blade sway bar in the back of the Camaro. Fingers crossed.
No solid plans, but I assume it will be like any other holiday at my parents place. Take stock of all the projects and see what Pops has drug home in the last few months. Fiddle with and ride some Spanish, Japanese, and British dirt bikes from the 1960s/70s, drink beer and throw darts instead of actually working on said projects.
FSM willing I'll get the stupid POS Passat back from the shop all fixed and ready to go.
I plan on doing a full on detail of the wife's Sonata. It lived a hard life of automatic car washes so the paint is nicely swirled.
The e46 M3 is getting new rod bearings and a few other while in there things plus new cooling system.
If toddler thing and pregnant wife sleep long enough new suspension on the MS3.
If it gets to be Saturday and neither has happened... Swaybar time.
Anxiously awaiting the RX-3 showing up.
I have to figure out the clunking in the rear suspension after installing an upgraded rear swaybar on the Forester XT. I'd bet a dollar that I lubricated everything, but since the front was also done and it is not clunking, maybe I only greased that one, somehow.

My thanksgiving is being spent with Skyline dip, left-over chicken and noodles, frozen taquitos, pretzels, and whatever other junk food I picked up last weekend specifically for Thursday, served over Netflix and Star Wars movies. Versus my racist uncle's house. No thanks, my goal is to not change out of my Kylo Renn pj pants and sweatshirt all day.
I did order some HID headlights for the xB, for something over the weekend proper. Probably replace a brake light in Subarust, see why the Hella's stopped working, maybe make the hood vents functional. Just general little crap I've been avoiding.

Racecar is dead, so it will probably get ignored over the holiday weekend.
I might have a new (to me)street legal XR400 to bring home from my dad's house on Thanksgiving. That'll be something to distract me for most the weekend.
Otherwise it seems like a good weekend to drink and catch up on all the TV shows and Movies I want to watch. That's productive, right?
I'll finally get my header off and swapped.
