This was at Carolina Motorsports Park.
1987 IROC Camaro DSE-Z. Yes, that was a Viper he passed.
I looked at a 80s RS before I bought the G35. This makes me wish I had bought it.

Those noises
SWMBO: what are you watching?
Me: car stuff
SWMBO: well yea, but what?
Me: 80s Camaro with a killer engine in it.
SWMBO: I didn't think you liked 80s Camaros - oh, is this one of those "better engine makes it awesome?"
Me: bingo
SWMBO: can I watch?
8500? Only if that's after an upshift...
(if this comment reminded you of the "36-24-36?" line from Baby Got Back, then you are doing it right)
Yea, that engine sound is awesome, Destroked LS7 by Mast Motorsports. That car makes me want to go get a third gen or modify a 4th gen.
The was a Track Night last Tuesday. My wife was driving as well. Her comment, It's loud as hell in person and crazy fast.
The only thing that excites me more than stuff like that is date night with my wife after the second bottle of Pinot Noir.
DSE's stuff is always impeccably built. I've been able to look over a couple of their cars in paddock at CMP while they're testing and the little details and craftsmanship is mind-blowing.
I don't know much about the Pro-Touring scene, but DSE is doing it right.
