British driver unhurt after crashing Ferrari he purchased one hour earlier.
Of course it caught fire. I suppose he ran the entire gamut of exotic Italian car ownership experiences in under a day.
Well, after looking at what is left and reading that the driver was unhurt I guess that is the bright side.

I doubt he ever got the chance to try to start it on a rainy day

If he got the "full gamut" of Italian exotic car ownership in under an hour, apparently he moves fast but doesn't last very long, too.

I read a report that stated it actually was raining when it happened. The police also claim that speed was not a contributing factor. So, the poor sucker probably didn't get much of a chance to enjoy his toy before he hydroplaned off into infamy.
Doesn't look quite as bad from this angle. You can still where there's some factory paint left undamaged. They're talking about a british driver. Where has Lewis Hamilton been all day?

Yet if it was a Volkswagen, it would have hit a crub, and three fents.
