Like so many of you, I'm always shopping for cars, though usually not with any seriousness. I also get most of my "next car" ideas from you Dorks. At the moment, I'm getting a bit more serious about choosing my next car. I've had my LGT for three years, which is a lifetime for an ADD car guy. So far in the last couple weeks I've semi-seriously looked at full size GM suv's, IS300's, CTS-V's, and now, BMW wagons. All but the GM suv's were inspired by this message board.
So, whatcha looking at this week? I just found a 2006 BMW 325XiT with a manual transmission that looks cool. I was focused on the IS300's last week but think I want the space offered by the wagon. After my E36 I didn't think I'd want another BMW this soon but the now departed BMW wagon project got me going on this.
P.S. If you see a two wheel drive BMW wagon, 3 or 5 series, with a stick for under $16k with less than 80k miles let me know.
P.P.S. Anybody want to buy my Legacy?
I'm thinking of a hill climb or rally project.
I'm seriously looking at a 93 Nissan king cab 4x4 so I can garage the G20 for the winter. The one I found is a southern rust free truck and at $1500 priced to sell, just not quite enough cash to pull the trigger yet, but I really need a truck before winter.
Oddly enough, I have been looking for an LGT for the past few days...

Funny, same here. I talked to a Impreza owner the other day, and started thinking if a LGT could replace our Outback. WRX parts in a slightly bigger sedan, what's not to like?
Last week, I found a 2005 Impreza RS with a bad engine for $2000 obo. Unfortunately, somebody else bought it while I was still hooking up my trailer. That's when I started thinking that I might be able to find a similarly afflicted Legacy. You know, the whole "Lego" thing...
I was at Summit yesterday looking for a carburetor spacer, ended up buying a set of headers for an engine and chassis that I don't even own. Yet.
But scratch-and-dent is 25% off all listed prices right now, so I got a perfectly good pair of longtube S10 headers for $75!
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/3182387448.html I would go and buy that if i had the money. I hope someone gets it who will actually use it, but its more likely to end up like all the others i have seen, sent to pick and pull after someone bought it for the engine.
Hello,
I am selling an 84 Maserati Quattroporte in fair condition. The car has only 37k miles. Comes with all of the idiosyncrasies of a mid 80s Italian car. Engine runs amazing. Very minor rust issues on lower section of driver and passenger side doors. Leather on the interior is in wonderful condition but both front and rear dash have had issues with sun damage. Signal lights do not function, wipers need replacing. Does not need work to drive but could use some love. Call me if you are interested or want to make an offer.

Aaaaaaand..........I just bought an LGT wagon. Needs a little work, though.
Nice Woody! Otherwise in good shape? Mine's been great for the last three years and 40k.
