Note that you can get a 1" master cylinder that bolts into a Miata from the Mazda parts bin - it's from a 929. Since it uses the same metric flare sizes as the Miata, you don't need adapters in the master cylinder or at the booster.

What did you use for piston sizes?

"Brakes that last longer than transmissions"

Having personally driven this car at that Lucky Dog event, I can say that this setup works a treat. 

Though I'd personally adjust the bias knob a bit more towards the front (he says after looping it into T1 while threshold braking).

When we developed a pair of endurance LFX Miata's back in 2021, we finally ended up with Stoptech C43 calipers in the front with 11.75 x 1.125 rotors and a V8 Roadsters str-42 caliper/rotor setup in the rear paired with Mk60 ABS. Worked great. One of those cars is still racing and winning down in Florida near the GRM offices. 

Oh, you are going to need to address the oil starvation issue. And possibly the shift fork issue in the MV5 transmission.
