Dodge Colt Sedan around 1987 Specifically, a Mitsu Mirage if rhd. Here, the hatch (and turbo hatch) was more popular but along with the sedan, there was a wagon.
I guessed 1987, this ad is 1986

Our local Chinese food delivery guy has the hatch. Pretty sporty-looking!

The entry level hatch was real "bare-bones"
lol these cars...
My dad used to buy these as a messenger in the 80s and would put 300,000 miles on them in 2 years.
One of my friends just turned the hatch version into an electric car. Very grassroots. He just got it going yesterday.
