So, we built a bonkers V8 race Miata for a customer. It's pretty wild, a wickedly fast yet surprisingly friendly car.
And here's what he pulled up in to pick up the car. It emptied the office.

Um, a V8.
The Miata has a 525 hp 6.2l LS3. It can use the traction and aero Tires are a 275 Hoosier on 15x10 wheels.
The truck is just plain cool.

Yeah probably, I dont know how one of those could stay somewhat civilized with any of the ls engines

DAMN, I'll bet it can use them and needs them
The COE was built by a guy in Vermont ("Long winters up there," I opined. "Yup," said the owner). It's got a 305 ("because that's what the builder had lying around") and they said they cruised up here at 90. It's pretty rough on the inside but that's part of the aesthetic. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow but it's loaded up for a road trip right now. The exterior is bare steel with some sort of POR protective coating. Curtis has owned it for a bit over a year.
They're driving it from Indiana to Colorado and back to Indiana, which is the coolest part.
I'd like to acknowledge that we had not yet tied the Miata down before I took these pics. He did not leave here with the Miata simply hanging off the winch
