Being just at the local Dodge dealership, they had a new Challenger Hellcat sitting there at $64k, $8k off of the window sticker price.

Dodge is making some insane motors for a production vehicle, but I would hardly say they are blasting by ford or chevy. They don't really make that much more horsepower than the top offerings from the other two, and their chassis are antiquated pigs. If they really wanted to impress along those lines they should put the hellcat motor in an altered wheelbase dart converted to rear wheel drive.

In my best southern redneck drawl, "that thing got a hemi in it?"

Ford's got a performance version of practically every market segment from the Fiesta on up. Dodge has a couple of slab-faced overstuffed coupes. To say that Dodge is the one leading the performance game is asinine.
