Bought a new family car this weekend. Thought I'd share.

1999 Volvo V70 GLT. I'm enjoying it. This is the first Swedish car I've owned.

Looks nice. It just needs a rear spoiler and some Prancing Moose stickers to be perfect!

I've got a pair of the shield versions of those stickers on the front fenders of the Saab.

Some suspension upgrades would be nice. But, it's a ways down on the project list.

Family Trucksters have lots of fake wood panelling...

Still a very competent wagon though!

I like that sticker but the meaning is lost on me. I'm thinking if you could find those positioned left to right instead of up and down they'd look badass on the side mirrors.

There is a story behind the moose decals, maybe true, maybe just a story.

It's something about a Swedish conducted "moose avoidance" test, as in, the vehicle passes if it can swerve at speed to avoid an object such as a moose and not roll.

Personally, I think it is just a stab at Ferrari. Really cool either way.

btw, nice wagon!
