In the month I've owned it, I've had a few people trying to goad me into a race (I didn't). Yesterday, I was driving up US 1 when a carful of teens in an E36 325 pulled up next to me and started staring, pointing, and giving me the thumbs up. On rear seat passenger rolled down his window and videoed me for a while. I smiled, laughed and gave them the thumbs up back. It's kind of like driving a Ferrari, but only a few people recognize it as such.
you know, when I bought my Mustang in the summer of '05 it was the same way. It was still a new model that lots of folks hadn't seen. It was kind of cool but it faded pretty quickly as more of them hit the streets. That probably won't happen with the FoRS.
Enjoy it!
I saw a white one in traffic this morning. As I passed, I expected to give "the nod" to the dudebro I assumed would be behind the wheel. Instead, it was being piloted by an attractive older lady!

Really? I guess it's chauvinistic of me to think of it as a car guy's car, but I wouldn't have expected that.
Then again, if that attractive older lady was Linda Pobst, it wouldn't surprise me at all.
My buddy got that with his '06 Mustang for a while (which he still has), and I think he gets a little jealous that I still get it as a matter of course in my '80 Fairmont. I always wave/nod back in polite fashion, but he's like, "Man, I feel like a celebrity in this thing!"
On edit: I seem to remember a fella writing about his, and complaining that it didn't get enough attention, but I think he was in SoCal.

I think the less offensive term is "cougar." ;) Otherwise it's MILF, or GMILF, which is all relative...
