The guys at Flyin' Miata sent this tank over from their huge salvage department. We've been fighting with and scratching our heads over an intermittent stalling, having swapped in known good ignition components with no change in the problem. Something was up with our Sunburst Yellow 1992 Mazda Miata.

This clearly wasn't an issue with flaky or heat-soaked sensors. …

Ah, I found it. Gotta do a little investigating! "Then we found it: Though we’d drained the fuel tank, all the stuff stuck to the walls had come loose. We’re not sure we’ll ever get this tank completely clean, so tonight, we install a replacement".
