It's coming to Amazon in a little over a week.
Is it weird that I am really looking forward to it even though I am not sure if I have ever seen any of the videos all the way through?

After watching it all the way through, I'm glad I did, and enjoyed it.
But less of a Ken Block fan than I was before.
I never realized that it is basically a huge Ford commercial.
Which is how they are able to afford to build the vehicles, and more expensively, produce shows that take months of planning, scouting, travel, and shooting for scores of people. Look like Ken may be out after this one.
I watched the whole series including gymkhana 10, and I rather enjoyed it.
As 84FSP pointed out it was interesting to see the work involved for shooting and the failures along the way.
Block sure does seem to have the Midas touch when it comes to marketing.
There is a GRM connection to this Amazon Film.
The series is basically "The Making of Ken Block Films" and is interesting. As I was watching episode #1, I saw a guy on screen who looked familiar. It was quick, it was brief and I thought nothing more of it. In episode #3 I saw another guy briefly on screen who looked familiar too but I recognized this guy #2 immediately. It was upon seeing him that I realized who guy #1 was....
Guy #2 was Luke of Team Gutty. You may visually remember Team Gutty as the only car to ever get a PERFECT Concourse score across all judges as detailed in this article.
Guy #1 was Luke's friend, Matt. You may remember the Wagon Attack Video where Luke is the guy in the passenger seat and Matt is the guy in the back seat. Matt filmed Wagon Attack and Matt is part of the filming crew on the Ken Block videos. So much so that in the Amazon film they refer to him by the nickname they give him; "Magic".
Matt has more on his youtube page. Check out his customization of a Ford Transit high top van.
These guys are real GRM out of Grand Rapids, MI. You might remember more of their antics like Chop Top Challenge.

Yup. Matt and Luke are rad. I did the ChopTopChallenge on its inaugural year as well. :)
Fast forwarded to Gymkhana 10 in Episode 8 last night and watched it with my 10 year old son. There was lots of "Whoa! Did you see that?!" exclamations from him. :)
Meh, I could do better. In fact, I formally challenge Ken to a challenge, each of us gets 20 minutes in the Hoonicorn...
