You probably all subscribe already, yeah. But hey, you can get the May issue for free on pretty much any internet consuming device known to man. So share the link below with your friends, family and even people you don't like. We're offering this promotion for this issue only.
And hey, if you don't subscribe already, please get on that. Click the button at the top left of the page you're reading right now. It helps keep our computer boxes attached to the internetting tube devices. Which reminds me, I'm running out of CO2 in my return cartridge...
Anyway. In this issue is a story I'm particularly passionate about: the Mitsubishi Galant VR4 that ran One Lap of America. Those guys are awesome, and so is their car.
JG put together a great story detailing everything you need to know to drive the Nurburgring.
What else? There's David's cover piece on future classics, a feature on a NASA TT Mazdaspeed Protege written by our former production editor Scott Lear, a(nother) heavy vs. light wheel test, a WRX STI review, Mustang tech tips, a dyno test of EFS Combust fuel additive, and the other stuff you see on the cover image below.
Click and enjoy. And share it with everyone. And tell them how to subscribe.

I got it on my iPhone. I'm bad and don't subscribe yet
I'm sure the actual magazine looks better than a digital copy through a shattered iphone screen

Thanks for the reminder. I just scanned through it quickly since I haven't seen it in the mail yet. I am wishing I knew which issues had the other lightweight wheel stories in them to compare. Is there a way to see table of contents over past issues or similar?

I'm happy if you subscribe to the iPhone/iPad version, but yeah, through a shattered screen might not be the best way to take in the magazine.
I've already got the 10 year subscription, child loves it for bathroom reading. Though he's only 3, he's quickly learning all the car makes and weird builds in the magazine.
The digital copies are harder for me to scatter in the waiting rooms of the wife's doctors offices.

I'm glad you do that! Please continue. After it's left your hands, you know you'll still have access to a digital edition on our website if you ever want to go back and re-read something.
Is the app not set up for Retina iPhones? The text seems quite blurry compared to regular web browsing.

Good question. I'll ask the professionals.

Could partly be my phone screen. But I did notice everything becomes clearer after zooming in a bit first. It doesn't seem to "focus" until I do that.
I'll ordered the back issue box. Ill most likely get a full subscription soon after that arrives
GRM and CM were Christmas presents this year. And my typical in-flight reading.

See if I can't get other car friends hooked like I am now.

JG's out at St. Pete this weekend, but he's got a message in to our app developer to see what the issue is.
In reply to Alan Cesar:
I figure there are only so many times people can read about the coming Y2K disaster in Popular Mechanics. It's nice to see my old magazines look well worn when I go back.
