......was that I would lust after pushrod Chevys. Funny thing is, this is the last group I would've expected to get me into them. Just a random thought of holiday cheer for all things GRM. The Times They are a Changin...

The engine answer is LSx.

The ultimate answer is a Miata with an LSx.

You mean you are surprised that you would lust after an engine that weighs less and is physically smaller than pretty much any V8 on the market that starts at 400 ish HP stock and easily can handle double with stock parts? Does it matter what the valve cover says or how the valves are actuated?

We're talking about a company that is hinging its future on an electric car, but they haven't been able to make lite bulbs work in 20+ years. However, yes is the answer, tuna55

I stand by what I said, not to mention I have owned a few GM cars in the past - and all of their lights worked just fine. You meet that type of criteria, and you have a lustworthy engine - whether made by Kia, GM or BMW.

tuna, no argument on the LSx thing. At all...witness the new Genesis(Hyundai makes my favorite new car?!!!). also, no offense on the GM light thing. Just an observation that I have noticed TONS of GM's '90's thru present that have a running lite out. Enough that I put it together-running lite out in modern car=GM. Truth be told, I believe the new Camaro will save GM. 300 base hp, good mileage, Americana for sale during wartime. What's not to like. I just thought I left my V8 days in 1990 with my mullett. I'm really pleased to be proven wrong.
