Between the Fiat Abarth thread, and my own experiences buying a 2010 Miata in February of 2011, it seems like this was a thread-worthy topic.

Is this about the best time to buy an overproduced performance car, if you are willing to go with last years model?

I'm seeing loaded 500 Abarths in the 20-21K range (heated seats, Beats audio package)

Looks like the few 2013 Mustang GTs that are left on lots around me are asking 6-8K off MSRP. All thats left seem to be manual transmission models, but, duh...

2013 Focus STs are drying up, but are pretty heavily discounted.

Unfortunately, while there are a decent number of FR-S/BR-Zs left over, I'm not seeing big discounts on them.

Seems like manufacturers tend to catch on, and reduce production, so the same deals don't roll around again next year.

I'm not sure why, but Honda was running ads locally for 2013 Accords. I just figured it was a mistake.

There's a decent number of those still on lots around here, but not a ton. They don't seem to be offering any big discounts, though.
