However the Torque Thrusts themselves CAN be improved (depending on opinion). Or at least look different than everyone else's Torque Thrusts. Reverse hoops and/or different center caps can give them a different look.

As with any ugly/pretty thread, subjectivity rules the day. One thing that I find really annoying is that I'll see a cool wheel, figure out what it is, then have to go all over the internet to find how much it weighs. For Pete's sake manufacturers and retailers, if you're selling a "performance" wheel, it shouldn't take the freedom of information act to get the weights.

On another note, since I'm currently dabling in Italian machinery, does anyone know of less expensive yet decent Campagnolo/Cromodora knockoffs?

I had a set spray painted black and they looked good on a Civic and Yaris I had. 4x100 bolt pattern ftw

For factory wheels, I've always liked the M Parallels on the BMWs, like mine:

Also found on the 850i:

Oh, and these Mustang wheels.

These came on the V6 model right? They look good on other cars that aren't Mustangs too.

I really dig the look of Kosei K1's on just about anything.

I was very excited that they were a perfect fitment for the ZX2 back in the ST days...

As for a more "traditional" wheel, my favorite has always been the Minilite/Panasport style.

...and of course I have a soft spot in my heart for AMC muscle cars.

Volk CV-Pro / GRC are some of my favorites.

Wish SSR MkIIIs weren't so expensive too.

Someone mentioned Camagnolos. Campies are nice, and I like the early magnesium knock off version like I have on my old Lamborghini the best (the three eared spinners put you in mind of a Roman chariot):

The special peg (as opposed to spline) drive knock off Dunlop steel wheels used on my MGA Twin Cams are quite rare and look at least a bit interesting.

Is it ok to like those on everything that's NOT the car the came on? They look phenomenal on just about every old Ford.

I like these too: the Work Emotion.

I had the Rota Torques on my last WRX, the cheapo version of these. Loved those wheels.
