These days (locally), I see LOTS of hoonigan stickers on mustangs. Which to me made me think its some American car thing. Didn't realize Hoonigan is import related.
I generally like hoonigan videos, but they shout too much.
I think they just get real excited sometimes. I mean, I think I'd be yelling too if I watched a twin-engined MX3 do burnouts while chained to a pickup truck.

Make sure to check out their Build & Battle series. They pick 2 teams of 2 people, give them $10k and 15 days to build a vehicle for a certain discipline. There is actual in-depth tech and there is no manufactured drama. A little bit of smack talk, but no screaming and yelling and throwing tools and fake arguments. They've done off-road and drag-racing so far, and right now they are doing season 3 with Gymkhana Grid cars.
Still living this one real time, never gave up. Should have gotten a Honda but whatever... I'm always two seconds behind.
Crazy how far things have come...
All motor record is in the low 9s on a "stock suspension" and high 8s on a nitro blend
SFWD is in the barely 7s
Outlaw FWD is in the mid 7s
RWD guys have gone insane both piston and rotary
I thought I was quick with a mid 13 sec car, but that was so, so long ago.

My Civic HF hatch (67HP 4MT), ran a 17.88 1/4 at LACR. Took me two years to get that car to 14.9. My fastest turbo CRX at LACR was 12.7. Never ran faster than that with an import. Used to be fast.
