I liked his style on YouTube and his stories. Seemed like a good guy. I am so sad to see him go. For some reason this one stings a bit more.. .. . Don't know why.. . . it just does.
Maybe because he let us in to his life and was honest about his life choices both good and bad.

this one hits close to home for me as well. For a few reasons
1. he is only a few months older than I am.
2. the fact that I frequently find myself preferring to live in ignorance which makes it very easy for me to relate to his approach before they diagnosed his cancer.
3. the penchant approach of our health care system to treat the symptoms and treat every case based only on the evidence presented in real time.
for me that means it's time to schedule that routine blood test that I keep putting off...
