I see one regularly. It's blue and apparently we have the same commute. And apparently it has continued to work up to this point. Who knew

seen this guy around quite a bit. He's just enjoying life....but there's no ac so that's gotta suck

and this guy came in for some tires

he bought it not running and swapped a big can Cummins in. Said it cruises like a modern but I don't think I believe him.

I see the older Avanti II guy driving around a few times per year. It never looks like he's headed anywhere special, it just looks like he uses it like a regular car. Looks like today was t so great though  

No pics, but yesterday I saw:

• Almost pristine 2nd Gen Mercury Sable wagon
   
• A very clean mid-90s Dodge Avenger coupe - I didn't figure any of these were still car shaped, let alone on the road

Snagged an express shot of this '57 Star Chief as I was walking out of the office today. Looks like a pretty straight survivor.

Summer Showdown car show in Twin Falls today. Saw some neat stuff, and some stuff I've never seen before.

Hyundai Equus (V-8 in a Hyundai?)-

MV4 (PamVan?)-

And- a Studebaker that is not a pile of rust!-

And many other cars besides.

Some google-fu turned up a bit more info on the Auburn. It's an 851 Speedster, manufactured between 1935 and 1936. Motivation is provided by a supercharged 4.8L inline eight, driving a 3 speed gearbox and a dual speed axle, allowing for six forward gears. Only 143 supercharged 851 speedsters were ever built.

Was a good weekend for car peeping.

Saw this little guy while going around the block to look at a pair of F Bodies.

And then, when I took my lady out for dinner.
