Driving through rural NC on our way to Emerald Isle and went past a hole-in-the-wall auto repair shop and out next to the road was an '89-90 Lotus Esprit. I had seen its distinctive shape under a tarp last year, but I wasn't completely sure what it was, because who would be crazy enough to have a Lotus out in the boonies like that. Turns out I was right. It looks like it's been sitting outside for well over a year. My wife suggested I stop and offer them 5000 bucks for it, but I figure it would cost ten times that to get it back on the road.
These guys were all traveling together in small town Arkansas. Black one had Avanti nose and emblems. Never seen a 4 door Avanti before.

The four-door models date from the Avanti II times. (Although I believe, technically, they didn’t carry the II branding.)
I don't know my Ferraris, but these two were parked beside each other at breakfast Sun morning. C8s are pretty common around here, but that one is in my daughters favorite color. I didn't realize until I got in my truck that it was a AMG custom G-wagon beside the Ferrari.

First truck is Hudson Big Boy. It is a little longer than the Studebaker M Series of the same era. Orphans do attract.
