Anybody know what this is? It has some Ford lines from various eras, but I think I really like it. Super stylish!

I had to zoom in on my original picture but looks like 1953 Abarth 1100 SS.

You're welcome. Maybe I'll grab Lil Stampie's phone this evening and post some of his pictures. He and I have different opinions on cars sometimes.

It's the '50's... so it's probably a HRHT

The Duesenberg that took the win is an amazing car. Very early car with the vee radiator. The fact that a closed car won is great too.

Glad you guys had a good time. Everyone should take in one of those shows at least once in their lives, all the cars that show up are pieces of art.

Did you guys have a booth this year?  I didn't see one Saturday.

Hey Stampies big and little,

Thanks for that nice set of photos! Awesome cars there! I am impressed that you could get such clear shots of so many cars. Even on Saturday, the crowd seemed so thick that it was hard to get an unobstructed view of the cars.

In reply to Purple Frog :

He likes the newer cars.  In fact when I commented on how I liked the Lotus display cars he stepped back and said "I thought you didn't like new cars?"  It was fun to point out things to him.  Like hey that's not an 289 Corbra.  It's an AC Ace that the Corbra was based on.  His ears would perk up and he'd start snapping pictures. It says a lot about Amelia Island when an original Corbra is boring.

Mrs Frog and I attended the 1st something like 26 years ago.  A few years ago I took both grandsons.  I followed them around just watching what they were attracted to.  Needless to say, it was interesting to see what kids born less than 20 years ago think are "historic".

This seems like a good thing to put in the "to do" list for next year with the kids.  Thanks for sharing.

That looks like one of those Porsche engines that takes a week to time the cams
