You guys may not like this one, but a C7 Stingray. There are only two people that own one in a 30 mile radius from my house. The guy that owns it had a C6 at the same time for about a month or two. I did chat with him about it for a couple of minutes, nice guy.
I also see a Ferrari 360 every now and then, red of course.
Driving through the intersection today a saw an old hunter green BMW 2002. Decent shape too. This is northeastern ohio...i dunno if i ever saw one up here on the street
Just got passed by a bmw z8 on the way home from work today. Silver w/ red interior and hardtop. I had to speed up to get a second take, beautiful car......hmmm, now that I think about it.....off to do some research
Okay, so did the research, man they are going for good money!!
I saw a guy wearing JNCO's yesterday. Does that count?

Tesla S model is definitely not a unicorn in my area. I routinely see 2 or three a day. I even see the roadsters at least once a month in The summer.
If I don't see 6 a day it's an off day. South-ish west coast the number of unicorns I see daily is staggering. What's rust again?

I think I built the exhaust on that car.

Also saw a Z8 this past week on Walnut St. in Philly.
(only 400 brought to the US? can't remember if that's in total or per year)

Rust comes from the land without draconian emmisions laws.
saw a Peugeot 505 on my way to work yesterday, and saw a Citroen DS and a Ferrari 400i, both pretty clean looking, both sitting with for-sale signs at a service station lot a few years back. think I've seen an MGA around town once or twice as well, and damn near bought a nicely restored MGB GT a few years back but the guy wanted $15K for it and it had gone long enough post-resto to be trying to return to the earth starting with the roof :( Also seen a Carrera GT, the odd post-F335 Ferrari, a few Astons, an R8, and my local BMW stealership currently has an i8 in their showroom and at one point had a Lime Rock edition M3 (might not be a unicorn, but definitely rare among M3s). of course, I could basically win the thread by taking a stroll through the euro sportscar shop in town and writing down what I saw. lots of old Alfas in there
That Fiesta I posted a while back in the junkyard? Its been saved. Someone bought it all for $325.
I see the occasional Vauxhall or Opel euro mobile driving around town. One of the cool things that comes with living near the GM proving grounds. C7s and Camaro ZL1s are a regular sight too.
On Saturday I saw a Mazda6 wagon and a clean 2nd gen Escort GT. That counts as unicorn in my book.

And in my state's case, no emission laws at all.
I have a couple seen on the street unicorns.
This nice Aston
And an honest to God Viggen
I saw a r8 and a 355 this morning. A little odd since my morning commute occurs at 4:30am

I don't consider the Aston a unicorn, but that color sure is unicorn material.

Out to run errands this morning. Just up the street I spotted a perfect appearing Square Headlight Rabbit GTI. Looks like it just left the plant in Charleston West Virgina. In fact I'm not sure it wasn't over-restored.
I saw a 3 pedal mazda 6 wagon on the way to work today, every day actually. Wait... that's me
Another Subaru SVX, this one red, under its own power & drove by my house.

Looks like Aston got some paint color ideas from Ford. Probably while Ford was designing their grilles to look like Astons.
This morning, I saw a 1956 Continental Mark II.

That would be an unicorn since the plant was in westmoreland pa! Lol
My google fu is failing me but I just say a minty looking late 80s small wagon, I thought it was a Pontiac Sunbird but can't find any images that look right. Notable feature was the headlights, they were fixed but half covered with a pop up arrangement that really grabbed my attention.
Anyone know what I'm on about?

In reply to chandlerGTi: You are Half Right. One VW plant was in Westmoreland Pa. The other was in South Charleston WV. LOL! When both US VW plants shut down, we hired former employees from each at the Budd Co. But speaking of a unicorn, there is also a square headlight VW pickup I see around here from time to time.
