I saw a Renault Le Car on a dealer's lot today that was in like-new condition.
I don't want it, I just saw it there.

They are worth like $6k now in good condition. I wouldnt mind having one, but not for that kind of money. Id rather have a Fiat 128 if I was going to get a little cheap 70s car.
I autocrossed one in the mid 80s. It ran well but the body was a bit bumpy. Bought it at the local junkyard for $25. Brought it back to the same yard after fully exhuasting it's useful life. Got $15 for it.
I bought one brandy new in 1983 (square headlights) for $5900. I liked the roll back sun roof, cheap on gas, not horrible to look at and fit two of us pretty well.
My son bought one for $50 when he was 11 years old, it was languishing on some guy's lawn. He waxed it up, vacuumed it out, Armor-Alled everything else and sold it for $200. The first one in my family to ever make money on a car....
