If you have seen this guy nosing around the Daytona paddock, say something. Stealing from drivers and crew members--there's a special place in hell for that, sir.
wow.. guy has been at it for years?

I hate thievin' bastards. Stealing credit cards of people on the road is low. He deserves bad things.

In 1988 at Road Atlanta Runoffs, I and 4 other F Prod drivers were robbed while we were racing. I was left with $.72 and no credit cards 600 miles from home. There have been numerous thefts at major races for many years. It really does suck! The Road Atlanta security offered to leave me in a room with the thief, but he wasn't caught.
Don, I was working F&C at the 88 Runoffs, I remember when that happened. We were listening for some braggart in the crowd on our nightly infield party runs, but never heard even a rumor. How'd you get home?
David, is there a larger pic of this piece of human (expletive deleted) anywhere? I'm too far away to help, but it might help some of the other folks keep an eye out.
This is kind of off topic, maybe not, but in this day and age, how the hell do places like Target not have HD resolution security cameras? I'm sorry but the guy in the pic in the article looks like any male in the 40-50 age group. I want this guy caught and beat just like anyone else, but you can't make anything distinct out. That guy in that pic looks like two or three of my friends' dads.

I honestly don't know. I just saw that on our local paper's site. At least the word is out, even if the photo is a bit grainy.

"Offered her several other cards until one of them worked"??????? Jeez, at what point does something start to stink and you call the manager? I think my personal cut off point would be three.

Thanks to the generosity of friends Jim Layton and Dave Windell, I got a couple of hundred dollars and a gas credit card to get home. Then I found my apartment had been broken into, but fortunately nothing was stolen. Needless to say, I have zero tolerance for thieves.
Anybody that was there, should look thru their pictures and see if they "caught" an image of him.

Why don't they have high res cameras? Cost. Security is not a profit center so budgets are low and get cut. Decent mega pixel IP cameras offer 20x the resolution for 3x the cost. Go figure.
