+1 on time. Time is money... I would gladly trade money for time at this point but my position doesn't allow it.
My kingdom for a job that makes the same hourly rate but lets me set a custom work schedule.

I'd trade everything I own for a completely rust free, mint Turbo Sprint and/or Firefly.
Then I would tear it apart, build it from the ground up into a rally car, and go do Targa Newfoundland in a 200whp 3 cylinder 1800lb dog-boxed monster and giggle the whole time.

If I do a bare-metal restoration on one myself and trade it to you, does that count?
Me? A 20B that'll handle about 15 psi boost reliably. And of course the time/dough to wander the US adding to my track bogey collection...

So you want to break the laws of physics?
(only half-joking...)
Tom1200 wrote: So over the years with the Datsun 1200 I've been able to get around most of the pricey parts, I put together an 80% race engine for about $1200, found a mid close 4 speed for $600, a complete rear axle with LSD with alloy drums for $1200 but alas now the car is going very well and running toward the front it's become apparent that a 5 speed ultra close ratio box is in order. The long and the short of it means $2500 or more. I've looked at various modern boxes but ratios aren't there and even if they were by the time you convert a box to fit an A12/15 you'll have that much spent. So what would you give your kingdom for? Tom
Wait, you will give your kingdom away for the sake of a $2500 gearbox? Not much of a kingdom is it then?
I would give my kingdom for someone who thought drilling out spot-welds was fun.

I feel like if I had about 12 extra hours a day I could actually get things done and still be able to do my dad/husband stuff. Acquiring cars/parts is trivial in comparison.This. Time to play in the garage, time to actually go racing. I haven't autoxed in almost 3 years now.
I still do plenty of fun car stuff and my youngest will be off to college when I'm 50. I'll still have time for the car things I'm missing now.

Is that too much to ask?
Mazduece +1,000,000 on time with wife and kids; I'm coming up 25 years since I hit the wife lotto. After our son was born is when I started driving only Saturday at our Dbl Regionals, on Sunday I put him in a stroller and take him to the track and we'd hang out. The boys did car stuff and mom got a day of quiet. There was an 8 year block were I gave up driving at autocross because I was crewing for a certain Jr Kart driver, he's in his 3rd year of college and will be sharing the F500 with me at autocross........so yes there is plenty of time to do car stuff.
NOHOME.....I had the kingdom apraised and it was valued at $12.78, so $2500 seems quite good.
Sadly / stupidly / shortsighed cheap me passed on a Hewland dog box for $1500 about 5 years ago........oops.
Tom
My kingdom for two four post lifts that work on 110v and have minimal overhead clearance issues. Free would be good as well.
Also if somebody could make a T8? 3 speed box for a 55 thunderbird that actually held up to 400hp and had a synco in first and fit without modifying anything in the tunnel I would pay a lot of money.

This is another one I would like to fulfill. It would either need batteries or it would be slow as molasses though.
